Parks & Recreation Board
The Parks & Recreation Board is required to draft policies for use of the city's parks and recreational facilities. The Board also composes a list of recommendations for capital improvements to city parks. These policies and capital improvement recommendations are presented to City Council.
The Parks & Recreation Board also reviews any proposed acquisition of land, buildings or other properties; construction or capital improvements of facilities; and/or any grant or devise of real estate or personal property for use as a park, playground or other recreational purpose. These reviews and recommendations are presented to City Council for appropriate action.
