Boards and Commissions

The City of Angleton's Boards, Commissions, and Committees are comprised of citizens who volunteer their time, knowledge, and expertise to make a difference in their community. Citizens serving as appointed officials have an opportunity to affect public policy and are a vital part of the City of Angleton.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have resided in the City of Angleton for six (6) months and be a registered voter.

Appointment Process:

Applications are accepted in the City Secretary's Office year-round and retained for a period of two years. The applications are submitted to the City Council prior to upcoming appointments and as vacancies occur during the year. Applicants will be notified by City staff as appointments are being considered. Appointments are made at the City Council meetings.
